Men!

A cousin got engaged to his girlfriend after nine years of courtship. One must think that he was happy and all. However, he was a nervous wreck on the day! His legs had gone stiff and he couldn't sit cross-legged, he was having a tingling sensation in the limbs and so on....

Another cousin got married almost an year ago. He's about to be a proud father now but it was the same story on his engagement as well. The sis- in-law says that she had to hold his hand (I wonder how that could have helped him!) to help him get steady and tell him to proceed with the ring ceremony.

Are all / most men like that, not as brave as they want you to think they are? Was it the fear of commitment or something else? What made these two guys go bonkers?

I can understand a guy being besotted by a beautiful girl and making a fool of himself, but at your engagement after fooling around with her for nine years?

Injustice

Grave injustice!

The government wants the reserved category students to take an exam for getting into the IITs! and keep appearing for the exam unless and until they somehow get in!

In spite of the many vacant seats for them!

They should be welcomed into the IITs and not be forced to take an exam!

Seen the detergent ad on the tube, where the 'national no paseena commission' picks the hapless husbands from their homes? Just use the same tactics.

Nobody dies a virgin

Life f***s everyone!

The girl in the Samrat hotel pushes the right buttons

I worked in the Samrat hotel in Delhi for about an year. The elevators could be slow sometimes. They seemed so, especially in the morning when everybody would be waiting to get to their offices.

However, once I observed a girl working on the same floor as me do something peculiar. She pressed the button for the ground floor before she got off the elevator. It took me some time to understand what she was doing. In her small way, she was helping the others in their morning rush so that their wait will be that much shorter.

I now feel that may be I should have talked to her and told her how much I appreciated that little kind action. I don't talk a lot with a lot of people. That would have given me a chance to start.

Don't know how many can / will answer these...

1. How long have you known me?
2. When and how did we first meet/talk?
3. What was your first impression?
4. Do you still think that way about me now?
5. What do you think my weakness is?
6. Do you think I’ll get married?
7. What makes me happy?
8. What makes me sad?
9. What reminds you of me?
10. If you could give me anything what would it be?
11. How well do you know me?
12. When’s the last time you saw me?
13. Ever wanted to tell me something but couldn’t?
14. Do you think our friendship is getting stronger/weaker/staying the same?
15. Do you feel that you could talk to me about anything and I would listen?
16. What do you hate about me?

Bonsai

When you cut the roots of a tree when its a sapling or tie them up with wires, the only thing you are going to get is a bonsai, irrespective of the 'potential' of the tree!

Girlfriend

Why is it that the guy who desperately needs a girlfriend is the same one who is least likely to get one?

How do I get her to attend dance lessons with me if her parents don't know about us?

Can't I sometimes just keep looking at her and not say anything?

I am ready to pay the bill, but how do I make sure if she wants me to or wants to go dutch?

Does it make any difference to her if I have a bike or not?

Is it worth accepting a substantial salary cut to be in the same town as her?
